Take a Screenshot in Windows (Way 1):
PrtScn: just press PrtScn on your keyboard to take a screenshot of the entire screen on your system clipboard. Then you have to paste whatever’s there into a graphics program such as Paint, Word or Skype. Right-click to paste or Press Ctrl+V at the same time. Ctrl+S save the screenshot as a picture.
The print screen button might be called Print Screen, Print Scrn, Prt Scrn, Prt Scr or Prt Sc on your keyboard (Top right corner).
How to open Paint in Windows 10/ 8/ 7 ? Press the Windows Start key or Click Start to open the Start Menu directly, Scroll down and expand the “Windows Accessories” folder, click Paint,or type paint to search and press Enter.
Take a Screenshot in Windows (Way 2):
Alt+PrtScn: Press Alt+PrtScn at the same time to take a screenshot of a single active window.
Take a Screenshot in Windows (Way 3):
Windows+PrtScn: Tap the Windows Key + PrtScn at the same time. The entire screen screenshot will be automatically saved in This PC > the Pictures > Screenshots folder. (For Windows 10 and Windows 8 )
Take a Screenshot in Windows (Way 4):
Snipping Tool: Type “snipping tool” into the search bar next to the Start, and press Enter or click snipping tool (Windows 10). Click start and type “snipping tool” into search programs and files, and press Enter or click it (Windows 7/Vista).
Or you can find this tool in Start > All Programs > Windows Accessories > Snipping Tool.
Click and drag the cursor to select the area, release the cursor once you’ve selected the space you want to capture, your screenshot is open in Snipping Tool. Tap Ctrl+S to save the screenshot.
BTW: There are 4 modes can be selected .
Free-form Snip: draw any shape with your mouse
Rectangular Snip: select a rectangular area
Window Snip: choose a window to snip
Full-screen Snip: the entire screen
Take a Screenshot in Windows (Way 5):
Windows+Shift+S: Windows 10 Only. Press Windows + Shift + S at the same time,the screen is dimmed, then click and drag the cursor to select the area, release the cursor once you’ve selected the space you want to capture. The screenshot is saved to the clipboard, and you can paste to anywhere.
