Safe Mode in Windows 7/8.1/Vista/XP
[F8] key is a easy way to boot into Safe Mode in Windows 7, WIndows 8.1, Windows Vista and Windows XP.
Turn on your computer, press [F8] key before the Windows logo appears. Select Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking, press Enter to boot into Safe Mode.
Way 1: Enable [F8] Safe Mode in Windows 10
Type cmd in start menu, Right-click Command Prompt Run as administrator
Type: bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy
and press Enter
Reboot your computer, before the Windows logo appears, press F8.
Select Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking, press Enter
Way 2: System Configuration
Type System Configuration in start menu, and press Enter
Or press Windows+R at the same time, type msconfig and press Enter
Select Boot > Safe boot > Network or Minimal > OK
Restart your computer and you will boot into Safe Mode.
If you want to start Windows 10 in Normal Mode, ensure Safe boot is unchecked.
Actually, type bcdedit /set {default} safeboot minimal in Command Prompt (Run as administrator) works too.
Way 3: Shift + Restart
Open the Start menu, hold down the Shift key and click Restart.
On the Windows Recovery Evironment screen, Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Resart
Press 4 or F4 to Enter Safe Mode
Press 5 or F5 to Enter Safe Mode with Networking
Way 2: Recovery options
Type recovery options in Start Menu and press Enter
Or open Settings > Update & security > Recovery > Advanced startup > Restart Now
And you will see this screen. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Resart
